Among our portfolio of successful commercial properties stands the TownePlace Suites hotel in Billings, Montana, a project that epitomizes our ability to harmonize traditional aesthetics with sustainable innovation. At the TownePlace suites, customers stay typically stay for an extended stay in this all suite hotel. In designing the landscape for this four-story hotel, which boasts classic architectural elements, our challenge was to create a landscape that not only complements the building's traditional style but also meets the hotelier's demands for aesthetic appeal coupled with low long-term maintenance and utility expenses.

Embracing traditional design did not deter us from infusing the landscape with innovative, eco-friendly elements. We meticulously selected native plantings that thrive in the local climate, reducing the need for extensive water use and maintenance. Furthermore, the use of locally sourced materials minimized the environmental impact associated with transportation, while a water-wise irrigation system was implemented to optimize water efficiency. These sustainable practices underscore our commitment to environmental stewardship, demonstrating that it is possible to achieve a balance between beauty and sustainability.

Our approach resulted in a landscape that is not only visually stunning but also cost-effective over the long term. The initial investment in a low-maintenance design continues to pay dividends, significantly lowering the ongoing operational costs for the hotel owner.
