Elisa is a dynamic and invaluable member of our team, boasting an impressive educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Design and a Master of Science in Plant Pathology, both from Montana State University. Her expertise is further enhanced by her certification as a Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL), enabling her to conduct thorough Irrigation Audits. These audits are crucial for ensuring our clients' irrigation systems operate with optimal uniformity and efficiency, thereby promoting water conservation and reducing unnecessary wastage.

In addition to her current qualifications, Elisa is diligently preparing to take her Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE), aspiring to become a licensed landscape architect. This step represents her commitment to professional growth and her desire to contribute even more significantly to our projects and the landscape architecture field.

A native of Boulder, Colorado, Elisa has made Bozeman, Montana, her home for more than ten years. Her deep connection to the area and its unique ecological challenges fuels her passion for integrating Smartscaping principles into our projects. Elisa is driven by the belief that thoughtful, sustainable landscape practices can significantly contribute to the preservation of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. She understands the powerful impact that landowners can have on the environment and is dedicated to guiding them in making choices that protect the natural beauty and integrity of Montana.

When she's not pushing the boundaries of landscape design with her innovative and eco-conscious approaches, or studying for her LARE exams, Elisa immerses herself in the very landscapes she works to protect. Whether she's exploring Montana's vast wilderness on horseback, carving through fresh powder on her skis, or trekking its rugged trails on foot, Elisa's love for the outdoors transcends her professional life, inspiring her work and reinforcing her commitment to environmental stewardship. Her passion for both her craft and her surroundings makes her an exemplary figure in our pursuit of creating landscapes that are not only visually stunning but also ecologically responsible.
